I have ordered a small amount of Cactus Juice.  The instructions were detailed and useful.  I have done one batch, just need to star polishing to see how well it worked.

Have you ever seen a double-dyed maple or buckeye burl guitar and thought... WOW, how is that possible? Well, I did, and I was relentless in discovering a method to create one, with my own hands. But how? There's literally zero information on the internet regarding how to dye and stabilize relatively large pieces of burl for this proces. Of course, you can purchase dyed and stabilized burl tops from a few vendors for hundreds of dollars a piece... but, I wanted to create my own. After countless hours of YouTube level research, I realized I needed a vacuum chamber (a BIG one!). I figured I would build my own, but of course physics got the best of me and after learning about the immense pressure exerted on a vacuum chamber's surface I knew that building a large, rectangular vacuum chamber was NOT the best (or safest) solution. After shifting gears from "how can I build a huge vacuum chamber" to learning about the actual products required for dyeing and stabilizing burl I discovered TurnTex, and better yet, the kind soul behind this wonderful company, Curtis O. Seebeck, a man who truly takes extreme pride in his craftmanship (and personalized customer service). Ultimately, I was able to purchase a custom built vacuum chamber just large enough to meet my needs. Safety is paramount in my shop, and when the chamber arrived, I knew I had made the right decision. HIGH QUALITY BUILD. PERIOD. Some PVC ballast chamber inserts and a few hundred glass marbles later, and the volume of Cactus Juice required is realistic... 1 gallon! Yes, this is an insane $$ endeavor... but my dreams know know limits... and Curtis made it possible. I can't thank this man enough! If you're a luthier and you are willing to explore a deep rabbit hole, then look no further. The reward is absolutely mind boggling.

I am just getting going stabilizing wood for knife handles. This product is so simple to use, cleans up easily and works great. Very happy with the results. Smell is not bad at all even when curing. (Would love to get some stickers for my shop!)😂

I use the juice to stabilize my rock specimens I work with in lapidary. Most others I know in the hobby also use it. Just can't beat it. And I have tried all the other methods out there. Shipping was quick, kinda helps to live in same state as TurnTex. Keep up the good work.

this is my second order and have not had time to use the stabilizer. 

I stabilize rock specimens for lapidary purposes. I have tried all the  other methods but found this works the best. I also like there is little wasted product, I simply pour it into a jug until I am ready for the next batch. I do store it inside a fridge to keep it cold. 

the owner provides valuable information about how to use and store the stabilizer. They also provide equipment for wood stabilization.

I recently "inherited" 5 gallons of 4 year old Cactus Juice (unactivated) from a relative. Uncertain of whether it was usable, I called Curtis and he said that the activator is what ages out, but the resin should be good.  If the activated resin didn't cure, fresh activator could be added to make it usable.  I tried some of the old activator and it worked!  As a result, I ordered the Complete Set of 13 Cactus Juice Stabilizing Dye Kit and am now playing with dyed wood.  The videos on the site are an excellent introduction to dyeing.  Thank you Curtis!

I’m working up a large number of knife scales & have just about run through all 4 gal. I never noticed that this batch had a lot las bleed out during curing & it’s very consistent. I have been buying from Turn Tex for at least 10 years now and have never had a problem with any of the products. I also know from the little interaction that I’ve had with Curtis that if I ever had any problems, he would do his best to figure out a solution/fix. It might be due to you shipping out of Texas and me being in Texas, but I got the product within three days of ordering it. I am very happy with both the speed of shipping and the product over all. I have been non stop stabilizing wood for knife handles since getting my first gallon. The first one I bought was fully used in the first week to stabilize wood for about twenty handles. I bought four gallons on the second order as well as one gallons worth of the “Brilliant Blue” dye, and am very happy with the results. I will continue to purchase this product anytime I am in need of stabilizing wood. 

I have been using Cactus Juice sine 2021. Does says what it is supose to do. Fair price, good coustomer service. Don't use Auto Fill in the address windows. UPS is picky. Pl, instead of place. Please support small business, because just like the family farm, when they are abolished along with the 1st and 2nd ammendant to the U.S. Contitution there gone. "You never want a drink of water until the well runs dry". A Veteran is someone who stepped forward when others did not. This was my first time stabilizing and Turn Tex made it easy!  I bought a stabilizing kit and ordered a Robinair pump from Amazon. Everything worked out great and the Turn Tex guidance brochure really made it easy. It's hard to find a company like this one, they will continue to be my go to store.   A store that cares!

My order was handled and delivered as stated on the website. They do what they say they will do. The provided"Help Sheet" was awsome. Providing first hand knowledge of the do's and don't's will save a lot of headaches and money. As with most of us, I first went with Amazon cheap vacuum chamber. Now I have a TurnTex vacuum chamber. Big difference. Yes, they cost a bit more. But, they are worth every penny.

This vacuum chamber works great. It’s the one I should have purchased in the first place. I had previously purchased a vacuum pot from Amazon to “save a little money” but the lid started to craze after just a few uses.  I have already used the new chamber at least a six times and it still looks brand new. It takes up a lot less space on my bench and I can pour the excess Cactus Juice out without removing my rock slabs.

We are on our 3rd order. Started with clear, now experimenting with color. They order process is simple, and the customer service is great. We also live to help support other small businesses. The product does everything they say it does. It's simple to use and easy to clean up.

This is an outstanding company to deal with from start to finish. They definitely set the bar on the quality of their products and service to their customers. They go to the extreme answering any questions or addressing any issues you may have. They take the time to answer in great detail and length if needed. I am speaking from my experiences with them. I have been a customer for several years and plan to continue. I recommend this company.

The product has worked well for my stone slabs for cabochons.  All the soft, porous, or fractured slabs now are treated with the Cactus juice. I only wish I could find an oven that worked as well as the cactus juice does. Because of the mass of the stone makes the oven drop 50 degrees or more when the samples are put in the oven so I set it about 245 degrees before putting the samples in and then watch the temperature drop to just below 200 F and slowly starts to creep back up and then I turn the oven down some.  It still ends up about 210 by the time the cactus juice is cured.

This is a great product!  I use it to harden all sorts of soft objects before turning...cedar, pine cones, sweetgum balls.  I love the results I get with this and it seems to minimize the resin bubbles found with using some materials.  Customer service at TurnTex is terrific!

I ordered 8 gallons of Cactus Juice, got it shipped to Pambina ND for me to pick up, I am located North of Winnipeg and find it convenient for me to pick up in Norh Dakota.
