Ive used Cactus Juice from Curtis since 2017-2018. Ive never had an issue with any of resin. As long as you take care to follow his simple instructions for use. Starting with being sure your wood is 0% moisture. Having positive results is just a matter of proper use and storage in between uses. Majority of issues Ive read over the years always falls back to user error. I order multiple gallons at a time never concerned or worried about the quality of the product. The absolute best stabilizing resin for small businesses or home casters.

It was my first time ordering from TurnTex they're really supportive and really fast in shipping the package. I received it on time with no issues.

   Thank you for shipping my 4-gallon order quickly and well packaged. They arrived in perfect shape, and I have already used up one and a half gallons! A fellow woodturner asked me to stabilize two large pieces for him: one 4x6x9 cherry and one 12x12x2 spalted maple. I then did six pieces of varying sizes for myself. I have those "baking" right now, and tomorrow I plan on making hybrid charcuterie boards. My friend has yet to turn his two pieces, but I hope he shows them to me when done!

I am quite impressed with the products I have from TurnTex as well as the great support and fast deliveries.  My plans for retirement are to spend more time with this equipment and making some interesting turnings.  The quality is excellent and I could not be happier with my purchases.

I recently just ordered a gallon of Cactus Juice. First time I have tried this process. Stabilized some Blue Mahoe and it almost tripled the wight afterwards. Directions were very simple and everything cleaned up nicely. Awesome product and I am sure my blanks will turn out better the next round

It's been a few years since my last order and I believe the formula has changed since I was last using the resin. Still the same great customer service and very happy with the outcome on the stabilization. I have some Cherry burl, Oak burl, and Maple burl that I harvested from trees on my property a few years ago. Its nice to get them ready to make into knife handles, pen blanks, and wood turnings.

Very happy with my cactus juice purchase so far.  Shipped promptly.  So far I have vacuum soaked and then baked first batch of black walnut.  So far, so good but test will be when cutting out individual blanks.

I am very pleased with the product and the speed of delivery. The customer service is exceptional as well when needed. I ordered 4 bottles of one product and received a call in a very short time stating they only had 3 bottles. They apologized for the inconvenience and assisted me with another product. It is nice to be able to talk to a real person who is kind to their customer. 

I recently tried my hand at stabilizing and dying wood. I'm a custom knife maker and wanted to use some wood from some historic trees damaged in storms to make handles. I purchased cactus juice and aztec gold dye. The process went smoothly and I followed the instructions exactly. I was nervous leaving the vacuum pump running overnight so I turned it off, leaving everything under vacuum. It started up in the morning and ran another 10 hours until no bubbles. I wrapped the blocks in foil, baked for 4 hours and the came out great. Almost every block doubled in weight! I was very impressed with the reduced foaming of the new product. Very different than YouTubes showing the process with the old formula.

Always the absolute best service. Shipping is well packed and fast. Highly recommended company.

I received the gallon of Cactus juice and the dye 2 days earlier then suggested by the delivery service. I was elated and went to work stabilizing some petrified wood. It worked like a charm as always and I look forward to testing the dye in the near future.

We are very happy with the Cactus Juice Stabilizing Resin and the Cactus Juice Dyes. The resin and liquid dyes are easy to mix and we love the bright colors the dyes produce and so do our customers. Thank you for making these products available to the wood worker community! We will be back again as we have before. 

Product appears to work as intended, I am making a wood and epoxy putter head and needed the wood to be as dense as I could get. It worked.

I’ve ordered resin and dyes. Items I order, are delivered quickly. Being in the same state helps, but there still is no guarantee from any company, but turntex always comes through.

I was having trouble with the gauge on my vacuum chamber. First of all when I contacted Turn Tex Curtis reached out to me personally. I DIDN'T EVEN BUY THE VACUUM CHAMBER FROM HIM! I purchased it from a retailer on Etsy. He didn't care where I got it. It was his product and he stood behind it no questions asked. He sent me a new gauge. Businesses with that kind of integrity are few and far between these days. 

    This Cactus Juice is just the best for my ivory dyeing operation. Recommend their products to all and wonderful, useful resources here on the site.

First and foremost, the cactus juice resin is a great product and I love what it does to curly Koa.

TurnTex is great with communication; and they will take the time to help you with whatever it is you need.

TurnTex is very prompt with shipping resin & catalyst (same day shipping to Hawaii at a reasonable rate).

Turntex is a great family business that I have been purchasing from for the last 3-4 years. I purchased several vacuum chambers, parts and a lot of Cactus Juice and have had no problems with anything ever. Customer service is even greater than their products which are top shelf. Almost  every order has shipped the same day as ordered. I think the main shipping guru is Gaige and he is one of the best. I’ve only have communicated with Curtis and Gaige. I keep coming back purchasing more because the stuff just flat out works.  Purchasing from an individual I know is an added bonus.  Customer service is absolutely awesome.

I am new to stabilizing and called Curtis for some tips in getting the right pump for me.  He was patient and helpful.  I am on to my second batch of Juice!

I had been using a vacuum chamber with an acrylic lid.  Curtis warned me of the danger of the lid developing cracks and imploding.  Then I saw a YouTuber's video of that exact accident.  He narrowly missed receiving a 3 inch sharp-edged chunk of acrylic in his face!  I decided that I had been  fortunate enough up to now, and would not risk it again.  So I bought the chamber from TurnTex and feel more confident that I have reduced that risk.  Most of us woodworker/woodturners are surrounded with risk.  Do what you can to protect yourself!

Cactus Juice is in my opinion is the absolute best solution for wood stabilization. I can get great results for my knife handles that is consistent and gives them great water and temperature resistance.  Since it is non-flammable and can be used with vacuum pumps, I can get full penetration (unlike surface stabilization solutions).
