I'm about to try casting acrylic blanks, and while looking for ideas and methods, I spent quite a bit of time watching videos and making lists on this website. This is the second time I've ordered from TurnTex.com and I couldn't be more satisfied with their products and services. Curtis is willing to answer stupid questions and does it quickly.  I've not called him yet, but from what I've read, he's even willing to call you back should the need arise. My first purchase was a vacuum chamber and the accessories. Took more time to do that than what I thought, but I can't complain about the quality of the items at all.  Thank you for everything !!! 

When you read online reviews of Turntex, you might think to your self there is no way a company can truly be that good. I mean, they must be paying people in exchange for great reviews, right? 

 

The reality is Curtis and staff ARE that good. They take pride in taking care of the customer. They make sure every customer feels like they are THE most important person because that's what Turntex believes. So will I order again from Turnex if they have what I need? ABSOLUTELY!! I don't have a need to order much from them often. But when I'm looking for something they sell, they are at the top of my supplier list!!

I'm retired and I buy knife blanks and turn them into functional knives. My wood of choice has always been Ironwood, because it is beautiful and I live in Arizona. After watching every episode of "Forged in Fire", I decided to try some other options. I kept hearing about stabilized wood and got interested. On a knife site TurnTex was mentioned as a good place for parts to build a vacuum chamber and the source for Cactus Juice. I have purchased several items from Curtis and the quality is great and the service is superb. I have never talked to Curtis and have been a customer for only a few months but I can assure he is honest and provided excellent service.

Dyes work great and super easy to mix.  Using 2ml dye per 100ml cactus juice seems to be giving good results on the zebra wood I'm working with.

I have used the Cactus Juice with excellent results . It really works well on wood that is getting a little punky.

The Alumilite I am now usingto fill some checking on a 60 yr old Monkeypod cookie . both  p-0roducts work great and I will be ordering more as I need

I ordered Alumalite slow resin and  cactus juice and had them both within 3 days. excellent customer service.

Both my resin, and the pumps I bought later, were delivered very quickly. Even with standard shipping, I received both orders on the second day after ordering. They even sent a replacement cap that was broken during shipping. Curtis and his crew are really on the ball. The resin I bought has performed flawlessly. TurnTex is a perfect example of American exceptionalism!

I just started using the chamber I got from TurnTex and had several questions. Curtis was quick to respond with advice and guidance. The chamber is very well made, excellent workmanship. I also purchase a pump saver and it does the job well.

I was fortunate enough to stumble across Turntex website while searching, pretty much in vain, for a reliable supplier of Alumilite.  Most other sources I found were either overpriced would not deliver to Canada at a reasonable shipping rate, or were unable to provide any certainty re the age of the product.  Turntex meets all my requirements at a reasonable price, with excellent service and no quality issues.  Do yourself a favour, if you need alumilite or cactus resin or vacuum systems looks no further than Turntex. I doubt you will do any better.

Great experience! This statement is not said lightly. We ordered the tube and received it as promised. Had a question about the item and due to a problem that is totally my fault needed help fixing it. Spoke with Mr. Seebeck on the phone and he helped resolve the problem. He did not have to do anything but went out of his way to help us get up and running with the new chamber. Very, very pleased with the product and service experienced with this company and it’s owner. I have purchased Resin from  Turn Tex multiple times and also purchased Catus Juice as well. Its always good service and fast shipping. This new order of Resin will be used in a class I am going to teach for my wood working group this month.

Received my order in just three days here in Indiana and one of them was a weekend. Turn Tex has great info with their videos!

I will be the first to admit that I don't have much patience but this takes way to long. My first batch I cooked in the oven for 24 hrs. and then started the vacuum. It vacuumed for 24.5 hrs. and I gave up waiting. There were still bubbles coming up so I figured I did something wrong, live and learn! My second batch, again, 24 hrs. in the oven and then the vacuum after the cool down. Its deja vu all over again! After 26 hrs. I still have bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles. I turn the vacuum off and let it soak. I can't do this, takes too long. 

Can't say enough about the willingness of TurnTex to offer their help. This is an uncommon attitude in the business world today, unfortunately.
